Valerie's Gingerbread Cake

Set oven at 350E. Spray a 13x9 baking pan with PAM and set aside.

Boil 1 cup water, set aside.

Blend together these dry ingredients and set aside:

3 cups whole wheat flour

1 ½ tsp. salt

1 ½ tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. ginger

1 tsp. cinnamon

¼ to ½ tsp. ground cloves

Blend together the following wet ingredients in a mixing bowl:

1 cup oil

1 ½ cups honey

2 eggs

1 tsp. maple flavoring

Combine dry ingredients with wet, alternating with the boiling water. Pour into pan

and bake about 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
