1 egg unbeaten
1/4c molasses
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup melted shortening or olive oil
2 cup flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
2 t baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Mix ingredients together well. Form into small balls. Roll balls in extra granulated sugar. Bake 8 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
(8 minutes for chewy, bake longer comes out like a ginger snap.)
